Job summary

USPI Center for Advanced Surgery in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide continuous high-quality care before, during, and after procedures in our fast-paced ASC environment.

The RN will assist physicians in the procedure rooms, monitor patients through anesthesia recovery, ensure safety, comfort and privacy, and coordinate discharge planning; qualifications include NJ RN license, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and 2 years' preop/PACU or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Current NJ Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR, ACLS, PALS required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU, Critical Care ED or Tele.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care with continual evaluation of the patient\'s condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for discharge.

Perioperative RN at Center for Advanced Surgery.
The Perioperative Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient\'s condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
