The University of Kansas Health System in Liberty, MO is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) for OR days. The role focuses on professional nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to ensure safe patient care. OR experience and perioperative nursing knowledge are required.
Work hours are 06:45 am - 15:15 with no call and one weekend every 4 weeks. Minimum education includes high school graduate with ADN; BSN preferred.
Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Days - Full Time Liberty Hospital
The Perioperative RN provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for the comfort and well-being of patients. Carries out a plan of care specific to unit competencies for the target patient population. Coordinates care delivery through collaboration with all health care team providers to ensure safe, effective and quality patient care. Must have Operating Room (OR) experience and demonstrated knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and surgical procedures. Work Hours: 06:45 am - 15:15 No call required, one weekend Sat/Sun every 4 weeks.

High School Graduate Associate Degree Nursing For ADN prepared nurses hired after February 24, 2017, must complete BSN degree by the fifth anniversary of employment as an RN with UKHA 1 or more years Experience as a Clinical Nurse.
Bachelor Degree Nursing
Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing Kansas or Missouri (or compact license) Basic Life Support Heartsaver (BLS HS) (Non-Clinical) - American Heart Association (AHA) or obtained within 14 days
