Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certificate at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification (AORN) preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesiologists and guide OR technicians and staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a continuous, high-quality patient flow and unit organization.
• Adhere to regulations, standards and hospital policies; participate in performance improvement activities.
