Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating Room: provide comprehensive patient care during surgeries; collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR team.
• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit: monitor recovery from anesthesia, manage pain, assess vital signs, and educate patients and families.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Mentor nursing staff and participate in committees, research, and quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to surgical patients from pre-op assessments through their recovery in the PACU. Your expertise will ensure a smooth and safe transition for patients through every phase of their surgical journey.As a **perioperative RN**, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care throughout the surgical process. In the OR, you will assist in preparing patients for surgery and supporting surgical teams during procedures. In the PACU, you will closely monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, providing pain management, addressing potential complications, and ensuring their safe and comfortable transition out of immediate post-op care.### **Key Responsibilities:*** **Operating Room:** Provide comprehensive care during surgeries, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and efficiency.
