Job summary

The Operating Room Nurse provides care during surgical procedures. They scrub, circulate, and ensure asepsis in general ORs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in perioperative nursing and surgical procedures, with experience in OR settings.

Assist surgeons during procedures, monitor vital signs, prepare sterile fields, administer medications, document care in Epic, and manage inventory of surgical supplies.

Qualifications

• RN license with perioperative nursing experience.
• Experience scrubbing and circulating in OR settings.
• Familiarity with Epic or other EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs during surgery.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields.
• Administer medications as directed.
