You will assess patients before surgery and monitor them through procedures, ensuring sterile technique and coordinated care with the surgical team.

The role emphasizes thorough documentation in the EHR, patient and family education, and ongoing opportunities to improve workflows and patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• RN with perioperative/operating room experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing, infection prevention, and perioperative safety.
• Excellent clinical assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in EHR documentation and clear patient/family communication.
• Effective teamwork and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients prior to surgery and monitor condition throughout procedures.
• Circulate and scrub during surgical cases with sterile technique.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document nursing care and patient status in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families throughout the surgical journey.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and outcomes.
