Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services to provide perioperative care from assessment through outcome. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, sterile processing, and the care team to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing in the perioperative continuum.

Role requires WA RN license (or compact), BLS, and perioperative competency; Monday–Friday schedule with orientation and one rotating holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in WA or compact license recognized by WA.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Competence in perioperative nursing practice and technical skills.
• Ability to perform circulating and scrub roles as validated.
• Ability to learn, apply and adapt patient care skills and tech.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates perioperative nursing care.
• Uses evidence-based practice to tailor patient care plans.
• Advocates for patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Circulating and scrub roles per department standards.
• Prepares and maintains the operating room environment for safety.
• Ensures proper patient identification and time-out procedures.
