Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The role covers the Perioperative Services area at 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, with a 1.0 FTE evening schedule (Mon-Fri, 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.).

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting OR environments, maintaining PPE practices, and transporting patient items and specimens as needed to support patient care in perioperative areas.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Equivalent Experience: 1+ years (minimum work experience)

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect operating and perioperative areas per protocol.
• Prepare OR tables and equipment for next case.
• Transport patients and supplies safely within perioperative areas.
• Maintain infection control and PPE standards throughout shifts.
