Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support Pre-Op, PACU, Phase II, OR and procedure room areas at our surgery center. This part-time (.6 FTE) position runs Monday through Friday, with three 8-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.

Under supervision of registered nurses, you will assist with rooming patients, taking vital signs, discharge planning, and ensuring aseptic technique. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and efficient operation of the ASC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rooming patients and taking vital signs.
• Assist in transferring patients from Phase I to Phase II.
• Assist in patient discharge, including dressing and transportation to vehicle.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living in the ASC.
• Assist physician in procedure room as needed.
• Initiate and follow cleaning checklists and restock areas; monitor inventory.
• Float between areas to provide help as needed.
• Prioritize care based on the plan of care; flexible with staffing needs.
