Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial seeks a dedicated support partner to assist Perioperative Services. You will help turnover Operating Room suites and transport patients to and from perioperative areas, ensuring smooth patient flow and room readiness.

Required: High School/GED or equivalent; nursing student or nurse aide experience in hospital settings. BLS certification is required by policy; CPR/BLS preferred. This full-time role offers a daytime/evening shift and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

Provides support and assistance to nursing personnel by performing tasks to promote efficient turnover of Operating Room (OR) suites. Transports patients to and from Perioperative Services.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Nursing student, nurse aide or comparable experience in hospital, nursing home or clinic setting: Required

Licenses/Certifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Essential Functions

• Assists in turnover of rooms by mopping floor, cleaning Operating Room (OR) table, linen change, changing suction canisters, removing trash/dirty linen from room etc. Prepares surgical case carts as well as processes instruments, scopes and equipment.
• Transports patients to and from Perioperative Services.
• Ensures proper supply levels and rotates inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
