Surgical Scope & Clinical Opportunities

This position offers the opportunity to work in a practice with an established focus on advanced periodontal treatment and complex surgical dentistry.

Depending on clinical experience and expertise, responsibilities may include:

• Comprehensive periodontal examinations and diagnosis
• Surgical and nonsurgical periodontal therapy
• Advanced periodontal surgical procedures
• Periodontal regeneration and bone grafting
• Soft tissue grafting and mucogingival procedures
• Dental implant placement and related surgical treatment
• Management of complex periodontal and implant-related cases
• Interdisciplinary treatment planning with general dentists and other specialists
• Comprehensive patient education and long-term periodontal treatment planning

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease and associated oral conditions
• Develop comprehensive periodontal and surgical treatment plans
• Perform periodontal surgical procedures within the scope of specialty training and experience
• Evaluate and manage complex cases requiring advanced clinical judgment
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists on interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and expected outcomes
• Maintain strong professional relationships with referring providers
• Participate in continuing education, study clubs, and collaborative case discussions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold exceptional standards of patient care

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
