You will perform diagnostic scans, document findings, and support physicians during ultrasound-guided procedures in a specialized OB/GYN/MFM program. The position requires ARDMS-certified education, BLS certification, and readiness to obtain OB/GYN RDMS credentials within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program which meets ARDMS requirements.
• BLS/CPR certification as required.
• RDMS OB/GYN RDMS credential must be earned within 90 days of first date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as prescribed by a physician, including patient positioning and imaging.
• Instructs patients on procedural requirements and ensures proper immobilization for scanning.
• Obtains diagnostic sonographic images and documents exams for physician interpretation.
• Assists physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures; may participate in education of students and staff.
• Maintains work area and medical supplies for procedures.
• Fulfills professional, clinical and technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
