Job summary

Texas Health is seeking a Clinical Educator for Perinatal Simulations on a PRN basis. You will partner with leadership to design and deploy education across the system, focusing on perinatal simulation and clinical practice improvements.

The role emphasizes specialist knowledge in nursing education, collaboration across departments, and advancing competency through onboarding, residency programs, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing, education or related field preferred.
• 1 year staff development or adult education experience required.
• 3 years clinical experience including 2 years in area of specialty or 2 years in clinical education department required.
• RN - registered Nurse upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements education programs in collaboration with leadership across the system.
• Develops and deploys onboarding programs, transition residencies, and continuing education.
• Coaches staff to adopt new tools and practices through clinical coaching.
• Provides consultation on competency development, life support programs, onboarding needs, and student placements.
• Maintains documentation for competencies and supports accreditation readiness.
• Engages stakeholders to assess satisfaction, identify gaps, and support learning culture.
