Job summary

FamilyWell Health is seeking a Psychiatric Consultant (PMHNP) in Kentucky for part-time telehealth support within OB/Gyn practices. The PMHNP will advise or directly manage short-term medication needs for perinatal and peri/menopause patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including OB providers, therapists, and care managers.

Must hold KY PMHNP license, ANCC certification, DEA, and be able to practice independently.

Qualifications

• Current KY PMHNP license in good standing.
• Ability to practice independently in licensure states.
• Active DEA license in licensed states.
• Active ANCC PMHNP certification required.
• Proven ability to collaborate within care teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Passion for perinatal/perimenopause mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management via telehealth.
• Provide short-term medication management in perinatal/postpartum and peri/menopause settings.
• Review patient records and provide treatment recommendations.
• Document consultations within 24 hours of visits.
• Coordinate with care managers to monitor patient caseloads.
• Educate care teams on diagnosis and management of behavioral health conditions.
• Respond to consult questions from OB providers within standard business hours.
