Counseling Speaks is seeking a Perinatal & Maternal Mental Health Therapist to support women during pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. The role offers hybrid options in Chicago/Park Ridge with telehealth opportunities and a focus on anxiety, depression, and identity changes.

The ideal candidate has advanced training in perinatal mental health and relevant licensure; pre-licensed clinicians may be considered. Flexible part-time or full-time positions available.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in a relevant field or equivalent clinical credential.
• Illinois licensure or active licensure preferred (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC).
• Perinatal mental health experience or specialized training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to pregnant and postpartum clients.
• Support women through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and motherhood.
• Address anxiety, depression, stress, and relational changes.
• Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Deliver in-person and telehealth therapy sessions.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation.

We are seeking a specializedPerinatal & Maternal Mental Health Therapist to support women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition into motherhood.

This is an opportunity to build a meaningful specialty practice supporting clients through anxiety, depression, identity changes, relationship challenges, pregnancy-related stress, postpartum adjustment, and the many emotional changes that accompany motherhood.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual therapy to pregnant and postpartum clients
• Support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and motherhood
• Address anxiety, depression, stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions
• Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
• Provide both in-person and telehealth therapy
• Maintain timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Ph.D., Psy.D., LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LSW
• Active Illinois license preferred
• Pre-licensed clinicians working toward Illinois licensure may be considered
• Perinatal mental-health experience or specialized training preferred
