Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Full-time Perioperative Services Leader to direct perioperative technicians across surgical and procedural services. You will ensure safe, efficient, and standardized support for case preparation, anesthesia workflows, sterile processing coordination, and OR turnover.

Minimum education is a high school diploma; an associate or bachelor’s in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
• Credentials/Licensure: Minimum CST or relevant certification preferred; BLS certification.
• Related Experience: Minimum 3–5 years healthcare experience in perioperative services or related environment.

• Lead perioperative technicians across surgical and procedural services.
• Ensure safe, efficient, standardized perioperative workflows including case preparation, anesthesia support, sterile processing coordination, and OR turnover.
• Collaborate with Surgical Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia to support throughput and high-quality patient care.

Responsible for team performance, operational efficiency, equipment readiness, and collaboration across Surgical Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia to support high-quality patient care and optimal throughput. QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field.
Credentials/Licensure
Minimum: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or relevant certification preferred (if applicable based on internal standards). BLS certification.
Preferred: N/A
Related Experience
Minimum: Minimum of 3–5 years healthcare experience in perioperative services, operating room support, or related healthcare environment.
Preferred: Prior leadership, lead, or charge-level experience.
