Job summary

SGMC Health on Main Campus seeks a Perfusionist to provide clinical services supporting the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system. You will collaborate with surgeons and hospital teams to ensure optimal patient care and patient outcomes.

The Perfusionist maintains credentials per the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion and contributes to policy development, procedures, and staff development within Perfusion.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
• Board certification or eligibility in cardiovascular perfusion by ABCP.
• Must be able to take call and hold a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse patient population.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to organize and perform in a high-stress environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical perfusion services to support cardiopulmonary and circulatory systems.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospital staff, and patients during procedures.
• Maintain credentials and participate in quality monitoring for perfusion services.
