Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Perfusionist to operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiothoracic procedures and to support perfusion services across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Perfusion program is required.
• Must have Cert Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) and Licensed Perfusionist (PERFUSIO) - Texas Medical Board.
• 1 year of perfusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgeries to support or replace cardiopulmonary function.
• Monitor and adjust the heart-lung machine, blood gas, and related devices.
• Ensure sterility and integrity of equipment; maintain proper setup and breakdown of equipment.
• Document and review perfusion data; communicate with surgical team during procedures.
