Job summary

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Perfusionist to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience supporting laboratory operations in a healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Perfusion Tech (Master’s preferred), CCP, active state licensure, and ideally 5+ years in perfusion, including ECMO. EPIC experience is required by some clients, and travel across the country is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Perfusion Technology or related field.
• Graduate of an accredited perfusion program.
• Current CCP certification.
• Active state license(s) as required by assignment location.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with adult cardiac cases required; pediatric experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ECMO and advanced perfusion techniques.
• Current ACLS, BLS and Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) certification from Vibra Travels-approved vendor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in perfusion during intraoperative and emergent cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain ECMO and perfusion equipment as required.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of documentation in the EPIC system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Perfusion Technology or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited perfusion program
• Current certification as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
• Active state license(s) as required by assignment location

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Any current, valid, and active license and/or certification required to practice as a perfusionist in the state of employment
• Current ACLS, BLS and Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) Cerification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Client Specific Requirements:

• Special procedures: Candidate must be able to work with the ability to independently assist is ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in Perfusion and be comfortable operating in fast pace emergent cardiac cases. **** ECMO Transport is a MUST
• Special Equipment: Must have Spectrum Pump experience
• Experience also requested in Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, CardioQuip HC.
• Work Setting Experience Required: CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Must have at least 1 year of EPIC experience
