Job summary

SpecialtyCare in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Perfusionist to join a growing program that handles adult cardiac surgeries, mainly CABGs and valves. The role features a 50% call requirement and a busy schedule with coverage for multiple cases daily.

The successful candidate will have ABCP certification, 5+ years of experience, and PA perfusion licensure, with a preference for prior Chief Perfusionist leadership and the ability to live within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Responsibilities

Position and Team

Harrisburg is a thriving program which is expanding and growing every year.

We are looking for an experienced Perfusionist who enjoys a nice balance between work and home. Harrisburg has become a leading Valve center in the U.S. and is on the cutting edge of new advancements in surgery. It sets in the middle of a very scenic and historical area of the country. It is within 3 hours of 5 major US cities, but still has a small town feel. We perform all adult cases, mainly CABGS and valves, some TAVRS and ECMO. No Transplants or VADS. This is a 50% call requirement job. They do about 150-175 cases a year but there will be additional help provided to cover multiple cases in a day and help cover call,

Position Requirements

ABCP certification is required.
