Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a lead performance engineer to shape and drive the performance strategy for mission-critical clearing, settlement, and risk management platforms processing high-volume transactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling and ability to evaluate tool trade-offs.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments (EC2, RDS, Kafka) and performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized testing (Docker, Kafka, event-driven systems).
• Hands-on experience testing Kafka producer/consumer performance, lag validation, and throughput.

Job description

• Lead performance engineering strategy for mission-critical clearing, settlement, and risk management platforms supporting high-volume transaction processing.
• Define performance test plans, workload models, load profiles, stress tests, endurance tests, and failover scenarios to validate system scalability and resiliency.
• Develop and maintain automated performance testing frameworks using LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, Python, and Java.
• Integrate performance validation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI to support continuous quality engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in performance testing tools: LoadRunner (enterprise scaling), JMeter, Gatling, with ability to evaluate tool trade-offs
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments, including EC2, RDS, Kafka, and performance monitoring
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application performance testing (Docker, Kafka, event-driven systems)
