Job summary

Infosys is hiring a Technology Consultant 2 to drive performance testing across banking/financial services domains. You will design end-to-end test strategies, develop workload models, and collaborate with Dev, Infra, and Ops teams.

The role emphasizes IVR performance testing, Dynatrace, Splunk, and API/MQ/Kafka expertise. Based in the United States, the position requires strong coding experience and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with LoadRunner for performance test design, execution and analysis.
• Experience in API testing (RestAssured/SOAP).
• Experience with Messaging Systems (MQ/Kafka).
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Experience in IVR performance testing using LR and Sierra tools.
• Create LR scripts for IVR and backend integrations.
• Identify bottlenecks across IVR, middleware, APIs, databases and infra.
• Experience using Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and diagnostics.
• Strong SQL understanding and performance analysis.
• Experience in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Ability to design end-to-end performance strategies.
• Ability to create workload models and test scenarios.
• Ability to monitor benchmarks, SLAs and KPIs.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

• experience in developing call flow scenarios using Sierra for IVR testing.
• Experience in identifying bottlenecks across IVR, middleware, APIS, databases and Infra layers.
• Experience using Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and performance diagnostics.
• Understanding of database concepts, SQL queries and performance analysis.
• Experience working in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Must be able to analyze application architecture and identify performance risks.
• Must be able to design, develop, and execute end-to-end performance testing strategies.
• Must be able to create workload models and performance test scenarios.
• Must be able to perform performance analysis and identify bottlenecks.
• Must be able to collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Must be able to monitor application behavior using Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Must be able to track performance benchmarks, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Must be able to independently drive performance testing activities across projects.
• Must be able to adapt to new tools, technologies, and project requirements.
• Must be able to prepare performance reports and communicate performance findings, recommendations to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Experience in JMeter.
• Knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Experience in Middleware performance testing (WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.)
• Experience in file-based and batch processing systems.
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain.
• Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below location will be:
