Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Dietitian at Vance AFB to lead performance nutrition initiatives, deliver nutrition education, and mentor personnel. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve physical performance, recovery, sleep, and body composition for service members.

The candidate will develop curricula, provide coaching, and integrate nutrition strategies across mission and training objectives while ensuring compliance with credentials and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Current knowledge of performance nutrition for athletes or tactical populations.
• Experience developing and delivering nutrition education programs and training materials.
• Proficient in computers, software, and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements performance nutrition policies, curriculum, and educational initiatives.
• Delivers individual and group nutrition counseling and performance coaching.
• Mentors unit-level personnel on performance nutrition delivery.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support physical performance and readiness.
• Supports body composition and weight management programs; willing to travel.
