Job Summary:

Provides project support and data collection assistance to improve organizational or departmental systems and processes. Coordinates projects with quality and safety teams, providing clinical information and analysis under occasional guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collects elements from medical records, analyzes patterns, and reports data for both internal and external metrics for Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital to support organizational performance improvement.
  • Maintains awareness of requirements for the collection of clinical information, including definitions, deadlines, and changes to submission requirements.
  • Provides input into departmental discussions based on quality and safety data collection and abstraction activities.
  • Under direct supervision, develops project deliverables, manages timelines by escalating issues to ensure timely resolution, and evaluates outcomes to facilitate organizational memory and knowledge transfer.
