Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara is seeking a Performance Engineer to push the limits of AI, accelerated computing, and modern graphics. You will collaborate with Marketing, Architecture, and Engineering to run benchmarks across Enterprise, AI, and LLM workloads, shaping product direction.

You will own Python-based automation, analyze results, and help bring up and debug hardware across pre-production and consumer GPUs. Equity and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + 5+ years experience.
• Benchmarking fundamentals for Enterprise/AI/LLM apps.
• 3D application performance testing methods.
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and PC components.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance, image quality, and power tests on GPUs for Professional Visualization, AI, and LLM apps.
• Bring-up, maintain, and debug hardware for pre-production and reference platforms.
• Develop Python-based automation scripts to streamline benchmarking procedures.
• Analyze results and craft reports used by multiple groups within the company.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Architecture, and Engineering across enterprise units to guide decisions.
• Identify bottlenecks and root causes in hardware and software performance.
