Job summary

The role emphasizes writing and testing code, reviewing designs, and optimizing core libraries and runtimes to reduce resource usage across the fleet, with opportunities to influence tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience with C++ programming language.
• Experience with compiler technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Design and implement improvements to fundamental library code and runtimes, maximizing resource utilization across the fleet.
• Design and implement telemetry and profiling methods, as needed.
• Quantify the fleet-scale impact of optimizations using statistical analysis.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $252000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
