Job summary

Apple is seeking highly motivated engineers to build a secure Perception Systems software architecture for its platforms. You will work on an algorithm execution runtime and real-time processing for camera, audio, and other sensors, integrating with system frameworks and APIs to enable new experiences.

This role focuses on developing secure, high-performance software with multi-threaded considerations and on-device ML integration in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent software design/programming skills in Swift, Objective-C and/or C/C++.
• A passion for understanding end-to-end systems, from the user experience down to the hardware.
• Experience with on-device ML frameworks, especially involving image and video processing.
• An understanding of how to develop and debug multi-threaded software.
• Proactive learning and a passion for learning new technologies.
