Job summary

Hayden AI in San Francisco is seeking a Deep Learning Engineer to build, train, and deploy state-of-the-art perception models. You will work across cloud and edge deployments to deliver scalable AI capabilities.

You will collaborate with the Deep Learning and Platform teams, contribute to MLOps, and focus on 3D/temporal models, vision-language, and foundation models. This role follows a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in-office per week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience building and deploying machine learning models for perception in production settings.
• Solid hands-on experience designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models for perception.
• Independently build ML pipelines and deploy models to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure); familiarity with MLOps practices including experiment tracking, model versioning, and automated workflows.
• Hands-on experience in PyTorch, Python, and related skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy perception-focused ML models at scale.
• Train, evaluate, and optimize models for production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform and product teams to deliver value.
• Contribute to roadmap and design of AI capabilities.
