Per Diem - Day Shift

Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid RN License in Connecticut.
• Two years of Medical Surgical or Wound Care experience in inpatient care.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient wounds including surgical wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and skin tears.
• Perform wound dressings and debridement using sterile techniques.
• Educate patients and families on wound care practices and infection prevention.
