Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Tacoma is seeking a per diem Vascular Surgeon to join our collegial team at St. Joseph Medical Center. You will provide expert vascular surgery care within a high-volume practice and collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons and vascular technologists.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, complex interventions, and a flexible call schedule, including a 1 in 5 on-call rotation after 5:00 PM on weekdays and weekends. Board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery (ABS).
• Ability to obtain a medical license in the State of WA.
• DEA with full prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• 100% vascular surgery practice.
• Clinic, hospital rounds, and surgery.
• Very large referral network of primary care and specialists.
• Approximate call requirement; 1 in 5 on-call rotation (weekdays after 5:00 PM and weekends).
