Job summary
GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for per diem shifts. Providers will float across Danbury, Fairfield, Brookfield, Stamford, and Norwalk centers at $90/hr. The role requires adult and pediatric care experience, and licensure with national certs and active state licensure.

Qualifications
- National certification required for licensure as a practitioner.
- Active state medical licensure for the applicable state.
- 2–5 years post-residency clinical experience required.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat patients.
- Take patients’ medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and X-rays.
- Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
- Treat minor injuries requiring sutures or splints.
- Record progress notes for follow-up patients.
- Educate and counsel patients on care plans.
- Order and/or carry out therapy with patients.
- Give vaccinations and refer patients as needed.
- Work four, eight or twelve hours per shift as assigned.
