Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technician to support abortion services at the St. Paul center. The role offers per diem scheduling, 32 hours per month, and an hourly wage of $30–$40.

The clinic operates Monday through Saturday, with standard hours and union representation through SEIU. Under supervision, you will perform ultrasound procedures, ensure patient confidentiality, and maintain records in the EHR while supporting PP NCS’s mission of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ARDMS/RDMS or equivalent credential, or graduation from a CAAHEP/ARRT-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound services under supervision in PP North Central States.
• Conduct transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds for dating, abortion follow-up, and IUC localization.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EHR system.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment and facility supplies are properly maintained.
• Adhere to HIPAA and state abortion service laws and safety policies.
