Job summary

VillageMD in White Plains, NY is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, prepare patients, and ensure accurate imaging per radiologist directions. You will maintain patient safety, document study data, and operate PACS and related equipment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography program with active ARDMS or CCI credentials and current CME compliance, and is licensed in New York.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ONE Active ARDMS or CCI certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, MSK, Fetal Echo, Adult Echo, Vascular or Pediatric.
• Current compliance with CME requirements for specialty(ies).
• Maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging per standardized procedures.
• Maintain New York State licensure and professional regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare patients and ensure proper immobilization and positioning for imaging.
• Obtain and verify patient information and route studies to PACS.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality.
• Document procedures and maintain cleanliness and safety protocols.
