Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• One year working directly with individuals with disabilities or relevant work experience required.
• Must be able to take directions and work with small groups.
• Valid Florida driver's license with acceptable driving record for insurability under company insurance and ability to travel to outlying locations.

Responsibilities

• Train participants in activities to improve daily living and pre-vocational skills using curriculum and resources.
• Transport participants to program activities and accompany groups on outings.
• Maintain ratio and supervise participants for safety during activities and outings.
• Provide progress charts and write summaries for participant files.
• Plan activities independently or with others and submit materials requests as needed.
• Perform departmental admin tasks and special projects as requested.
• Gains knowledge on data systems used to document activities: APD iconnect, Client Track, and ADT NET.
