Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility, a leader in physician-centric fertility care, seeks a Per Diem Surgical RN to support patients through their fertility journey in the Los Angeles area. This onsite role offers flexible 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality perioperative care.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, CA RN license, and current BLS/ACLS, with 2–3 years of OR circulating nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active RN license issued by the California State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
• Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions.
• Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in the EMR.
• Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques, quality control, and safety standards.
• Initiate emergency protocols and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Mentor new staff and provide updates on protocol changes.
• Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

We are seeking a Per Diem Surgical RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - California in Los Angeles, CA . This is a per diem, onsite position with flexible 8 hours shifts between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
