Job summary

VytlOne is staffing an experienced per diem Staff Pharmacist for coverage at Hudson Headwaters Health Network in Malone, NY. This role supports dispensing, counseling and pharmacy operations on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, patient counseling, and stepping in as Pharmacist in Charge when the regular pharmacist is unavailable; vaccine requirements apply and collaboration with the pharmacy team is essential.

Qualifications

• One year of practicing pharmacist experience preferred.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drugs, indications, dosing and safety.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• Act as the alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacist-In-Charge.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Maintain medication records and inventory compliance.
