Job summary

The Bostonian Nursing Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking qualified Staff Nurses (RN or LPN) for per-diem shifts in a spacious, well-regarded facility in Dorchester, MA. You will administer medications, perform assessments, and coordinate with physicians to deliver comprehensive resident care.

Ideal candidates hold MA RN/LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid, unencumbered Massachusetts RN or LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of skilled nursing facility experience is preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and complete assessments.
• Assess residents and coordinate with physicians on care plans.
• Develop, write, execute and monitor resident care plans.
• Maintain resident safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Follow applicable regulatory guidelines.

Requirements for Staff Nurse:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid, unencumbered, state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), in the state of Massachusetts
• Current CPR certification
• One year of skilled nursing facility experience, preferred
• Bilingual or Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Job Duties for Staff Nurse:

• Administer Meds, Complete Assessments, and ensure all necessary care is properly delivered to residents.
• Assess residents and coordinate with Physicians on plan of care
• Develop, Write, Execute, and Monitor Care Plans for resident safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain safety of residents.
• Follow appropriate regulatory guidelines.
