Job summary

Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking Per Diem Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for weekday and weekend shifts, based in Kingston, NY. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current, active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (NY).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification (if required by facility).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated resident care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Complete evaluations and documentation with medical necessity in mind.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and communication strategies.
