You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, supervise pharmacy staff, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality service to patients and providers. Weekend availability is required and compensation reflects market rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current unrestricted Pharmacy license in the state of Nevada.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy experience.
• Flexible to work weekend shift, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Takes new prescriptions; interprets prescriptions, creates orders, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information and verifies reimbursement.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to plan and evaluate drug regimens and provide advice within area of expertise.
• Consults with customers, patients and physicians regarding use of medications, interactions, dosing, and storage.
• Analyzes, investigates and reports concerns.
• Cross-train in Hospice, Home Infusion, and specialty pharmacy as needed.
• Oversee activities of pharmacy technicians and clerks.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and state/federal laws.
• Participate in quality improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Provide positive customer service and communication.
• Problem solve and work with multidisciplinary teams.
