Arrowhead Behavioral Health in Maumee, OH is seeking a Master of Social Work (MSW) professional for per diem roles in inpatient or outpatient programs. The position offers weekend shift differential and flexible scheduling, with two shifts per month.

The social worker will counsel individuals, facilitate groups, develop therapeutic treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning. Prior mental health or substance abuse experience is preferred, but new graduates may be considered with training.

Weekend Shift Differential

We are looking for the energetic, dynamic Master's level social worker.

The Social Worker counsels individuals and facilitates groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in medical setting and works with the patient and family to create a discharge plan for the patient. Therapist also uses therapeutic interventions to assist the patient in crisis situations. The social worker also participates in the multidisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient care, treatment plan goals and discharge planning.

Per Diem flexible scheduling. Position requires to work two shifts per month.

While previous experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment facility is preferred, we are willing to train a new graduate excited to learn..

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.

Position requires the ability to work productively and independently. Must follow the security and confidentiality guidelines as well as the policies and procedures of Arrowhead Behavioral Health.
