Responsibilities

  • Supervise interns, LCSWs and other staff in absence of Manager/Supervisor.
  • Provide psychosocial assessments of patients and families with psychosocial issues and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform mandated assessments when abuse is suspected and safety assessments when violence is suspected.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to evaluate medical condition and patient needs.
  • Monitor, evaluate and document client progress according to treatment plans.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and high standards for patient rights and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning in a timely manner.

This position is responsible for performing social work assessments and interventions as needed for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients.Does this position require Patient Care? YesEssential Functions-Provide supervision to interns, LCSW's and other Staff in the absence of Manager and/or Supervisor.-Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal and/or environmental issues.
