Job summary

Winder Center for Nursing and Healing in Georgia is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This per diem role focuses on evaluating, planning, and delivering patient-centered speech and language care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, administer therapies, supervise support staff as needed, participate in CQI activities, document accurately, and ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed treatment modalities to support resident recovery.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff, such as OT/PT aides.
• Participate in performance improvement, CQI activities, and departmental operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and patient charge submissions.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and equipment protocols.
