Job summary

Neptune Township School District seeks an Extended Term Substitute School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. The nurse will report to Building Principal/Supervisor, handling essential duties and data reporting, with a per diem pay structure.

Requirements include a New Jersey RN license, BLS/CPR, and preferred pediatrics/ED/ICU experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suite, Frontline, and SIS is expected.

Qualifications

• Current license as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Must meet highly qualified standards.
• Pediatrics/Emergency Dept/ICU experience preferred.
• Recent hospital clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal/organizational/flexibility skills/Microsoft Office skills.
• Duties may include mandatory electronic tracking and reporting of program-related data.
• Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance.
• Required physical and drug test offered free of charge.
