Participates in the collection of data to support unit based quality initiatives.
Utilizes system wide resources to support decision making and action.
Communicates current evidence-based information with peers.
Establishes a caring, therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
Collaborates with other disciplines and services to meet patient needs.
Assesses patient safety needs and implements appropriate strategies.
Precepts staff and students on the unit and demonstrates leadership skills.
