Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Riverside, CA seeks an experienced Level III Staff RN to provide professional nursing care in the Ambulatory Infusion Center, using the nursing process and adhering to standards of care.

You will lead the health care team, develop individualized plans of care, document progress, mentor peers, and participate in performance improvement activities while ensuring patient confidentiality and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent full-time experience in acute/ambulatory care within last 3 years.
• CA Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support.
• PICC insertion experience may be required.
• ONS Provider Card or APHON certification if administering chemotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Lead the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation of nursing processes and interventions.
• Discuss patient findings and progress with the healthcare team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and apply customer service standards.
• Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit operations.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
