Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a PRN RN for the Progressive Pulmonary Care Unit on the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. This role provides specialized nursing care in a high-acuity pulmonary environment and supports clinicians with flexible, per diem shifts.

The ideal candidate has ADN or BSN, and at least 2 years of recent pulmonary or critical care nursing experience. Current RN license and BLS required; ACLS preferred for critical care areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN).
• 2 years recent related nursing experience for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with less than 2 years' experience may be considered after orientation/90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex pulmonary needs.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
