• Candidates with 5+ years of RN experience may waive BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs the care of the pre-surgical/post-procedural patient and collaborates with the health care team.
• Evaluates and completes assessment of patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-surgery.
• Provides safe, therapeutic direct patient care in pre-operative and post-surgery areas.
• Maintains accurate records and documents activities and patient status.
• Assists in education for patients and families and ensures informed consents are completed.
