Ascension in Mequon, WI invites an experienced perioperative RN to join the OR team in a PRN capacity. You’ll guide the patient care journey across pre-, intra-, and post-op stages, ensuring safety and continuity throughout the surgical pathway.

Responsibilities include scrub duties, instrument preparation, and supporting the surgical team with positioning, hemostasis, and wound closure. You’ll maintain a ready, sterile OR and collaborate with caregivers to deliver quality outcomes.

Formación

• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire or transfer date.
• RN licensure from Minnesota or Wisconsin board of nursing, state-dependent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead comprehensive patient care in operative setting (pre/intra/post-op) with continuous vital status updates.
• Perform scrub functions and prepare instruments to maintain a sterile field for procedures.
• Assist physician with patient positioning, hemostasis, and wound closure.
• Prepare OR and ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and ready for each case.
