Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for the Surgicenter at Longwood (800 Huntington Avenue). The role entails nursing assessments, medication administration, and coordination with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.

Must hold an active RN license and have 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience. The position is onsite with day shifts and offers a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license required (state).
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year.
• Familiarity with age-appropriate nursing care.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to screen and triage acute patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
