Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem Day and Night shifts. This PRN role involves admitting and transferring patients, performing initial and ongoing assessments, and documenting in EPIC.

Applicants must hold a valid state RN license and BLS at hire; at least one year of RN experience is preferred; BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is recommended. Compensation is $48.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license is required.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
